Try the Wheel - Private 1-on-1

A fun and hands-on introduction to throwing ceramic pieces on the potter’s wheel.

In this 2.5-hour workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing: how to prepare the clay, centre it on the wheel and shape simple forms. This class is designed for complete beginners, but it also works well as a refresher for those who have tried the wheel before.

At the end of the session, you can choose 1–2 pieces to keep. We will take care of trimming, glazing and firing them for you, finishing them with a glossy transparent glaze.

The workshop price includes all materials, tools and firing fees.

Aprons are provided, but we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty — working with clay is part of the experience.
